A Landscape Design Project For a Net-Zero Energy Home in Lincoln MA

Kimberly Mercurio Landscape Architecture worked with Cape Cod architect Alison Allessi of A3 Architects of Dennis, MA on a net-zero energy home in Lincoln, MA. This modern home was built on a 15,000 sqft foundation that was abandoned by the prior owner. KMLA's work including improving the landscape to enhance the preexisting siting and to provide a sustainable landscape design. This required grading the property to enhance the pastoral features including a nearby orchard and necessitated Conservation Commission approval. The landscape design called for native and sustainable plants, a retaining wall design, and lighting. Wetland plants were positioned near an existing pond.  Click here to view the project.
