Kimberly Mercurio to Speak at The Cultural Landscape Foundation Event
The Cultural Landscape Foundation has asked Landscape Architect, Kimberly Mercurio to speak on the work of twentieth-century landscape architect A.E. Bye. The event is being held at Pittman Residence in Falls Village, Connecticut on Sunday July 19th at 3:00 pm. It is one in a series of Garden Dialogues that are given throughout the nation during the summer months. Kimberly Mercurio is scholar and an expert on the work of A.E. Bye. She has received a grant from Dumbarton Oaks to document his achievements and she has recently completed the A.E. Bye/Landscape Architecture Archives Research Fellowship at Penn State University.
Garden Dialogues gives small groups an opportunity to discover gardens created by the most accomplished landscape architects. These events bring together enthusiasts to discuss the creative process and collaboration between patrons and architects that produces an elegant garden .
